higher ups are still struggling with nailing down a date for our football tab. I'm OK with EVERY NIGHT being my drinking night this week.

 

Seems pretty cut-and-dried...the Weds. before the first Friday night game. Sometimes higher ups overthink these things.

 

Celebrity crushes (mainly listing porn stars certain posters would like to bang) is getting more attention than the thread concerning the Washington Times partnership with the Redskins.

More confirmation this is a board for professionals to talk about the craft, or so we've heard from on high.

A thread a week on stories written in the good 'ol days when Mr./Ms. Sportswriter had the eye and the respect of the public. Bravo.

That will surely spice up prep and youth sports gamers and bring back readers.

I noticed that story. Thought to myself the NY Times wasn't the right venue to pitch it to. The Classical, Deadspin, or Sports on Earth would have been good places for the story.
