You know, that line is awfully ... funny? Humorous?

    I will do the laundry
If you pay all the bills ...

Definitely could do a whole college course on that lyric.

    And because:

So today is going swimmingly, headed to DMV as it opened hoping to knock that off my list only to find they don't open until 10 a.m. for some reason on Wednesdays - killed an hour waiting for it to open by going to breakfast, but I did give a homeless woman a couple of bucks (so maybe that was the point?) The card reader wouldn't accept my new Chase debit card from my bank after tapping, inserting and swiping, but it did take my credit union card for some reason. "Well, nothing is going to be easy today," I remember thinking on the way home. Arrive home and hear from my sister that my brother-in-law's stepmon was killed in a car crash (she apparently had a medical issue while driving) and my godmother has entered hospice care. It's not even 10 a.m. out here yet.

David Lee Roth as The Joker would really be a great capper to his career.

Younger, I told myself if I ever saw David Lee Roth in the wild I’d yell out really loudly, “Hey everybody! It’s Sammy Hagar!”

Van Halen as we knew them died in 1985.

Van Hagar had one song for the ages. Hagar didn't come within a million galaxies of Diamond Dave.

Nothing personal but it'd be like if one of the Jonas brothers joined The Doors after Morrison died.

I had such high hopes for Gary Cherone, but man, his one album with Van Halen was godfuckingawful.

Which songwriter wrote this particular line:

And there won't be snow in Africa this Christmas time.

And Midge Ure. They wrote the song together.

There is no cat quite so boneless as one spread out in front of a burning fireplace.

Todd and Margo (Christmas Vacation) made one helluva lot of margaritas for just the two of them.
