After binging a show on Netflix yesterday with the 11-year-old I asked her which ensemble character she thought she most resembled.

“It’s hard to say. It’s from 2015, so how relatable are they really?”

I threatened to make her walk the rest of the way to the restaurant.

An astounding number of UK MPs are former journalists. I wonder why.

Pretty sure the Met Gala is always held on a Monday because normal people wouldn't otherwise dress like such douchebags any other day of the week. I despise everything about it, but yeah I'd go if invited (which I never will be).

Didn't the NCAA have a rule that schools had to play at the same level in every sport?

If they did, it hasn’t been in effect for a long time.

Has Dayton football ever been at the same level as basketball?

At some point Alaska should have a college football team.

Vermont is the only other state without a university football team.

They used to be DIII in football and would give scholarships to its DI track athletes who would then play on the football team, which dominated for awhile in the '80s. Not sure if they were the reason it changed, but before long schools were allowed such shenanigans anymore. They moved to DI-AA in football in 1993 and have been there ever since.

It seems like some schools were grandfathered in to having programs at different levels. Also, colleges can't change level in a single sport.
