Pete Townshend is underrated? He's even mentioned by Jeff Bebe in "Almost Famous" as the one guy who can maybe explain rock and roll.

Kris Kristofferson shares my birthday, June 22, and that's where we depart lol. The guy was a Rhodes Scholar, special forces, singer-songwriter, member of the Highwaymen, an actor. Just a fucking amazing dude.

“More Than Words” was the perfect hair band power ballad — a slow song about getting a girl to put out.

Extreme’s performance at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert shows just how insanely talented they are:

I think Townshend is underrated. People think Zeppelin were so great, but they ripped off songs and were generally a drudge. Townshend wasn't doing warmed over, louder blues songs. He considered himself to be the equal of Jimi Hendrix. It's part his stunning ego, but he has something.

Zeppelin was my favorite band in high school and for many years, though I never got to see them in concert as I was too young, though I did see Plant solo on the Now and Zen tour at the old New Haven Coliseum. I don't remember much from the show lol.

Saw The Who at The Meadowlands in 1989 for the Kids are Alright tour and they put on an amazing show. Eminence Front is one of my favorite songs ever. Just a great, great tune.

Inception is even worse than No Country for Old Men which is a godawful movie.

The bass line in Eminence Front is great.
