"Cult of Personality" is a cool rock performance....but the lyrics are iffy. Stalin and JFK. Really?

Did you find anything interesting or valuable that you had forgotten? What happened with the dumpster?

I've been waiting for these rascals for an hour already.

And I'm going to start tearing into this plastic punkin if they do not come hither.

Out of a box of 36 full-size Reese’s, I have 31-32 left. I had them go two weeks before their siren song caused me to crack. Kids better hurry the fuck up because these won’t last around me.

We went out with a group of eight kids and we were just about the only people out.

Got nothin’. Didn’t even buy candy, which turned out to be amazing advance planning.

It’s been dark here for an hour. Number of kids at Chez Swingline: fucking nothing. I’m gonna put on the peanut butter and chocolate winter weight.

Given the location of our house near an intersection with no sidewalk, you have to really want to come to our house to trick or treat. I wasn’t home, but Mrs. W and the 15 year old left a bowl of large candy outside while they ran a quick errand. Someone stole the bowl in the 20 minutes that they were gone.

My neighbor was in quite the mood last night. His two kids went trick-or-treating with our group, and his youngest son had a bag full of candy after only three stops, because he just grabbed like 10 handfuls at each house. It wasn’t until his mom saw it that someone, anyone, told the kid he couldn’t have ALL the candy at ALL the houses.

Then, after I told all the kids to only knock on doors with an exterior light on (you know, the universally recognized welcome mat for trick-or-treaters), neighbor told them to just knock on every door regardless, because “people need to be shamed into giving kids candy on Halloween!”

Also, while I was trying to get my kids to eat at least a marginal dinner before heading out, he was loudly chiding me for not letting them have an all-candy dinner.

None at my place, which was good because I woke up late and started work early.

At least I really like consuming the candy I have ... and I didn't buy it shortly before Halloween, which means I didn't get taken to the cleaners.

We didn't get a single trick or treater. Kinda sad, I miss seeing the cute kids. The teenagers in a halfassed excuse for a "costume", not so much.
