Random Thoughts the Third

The houses on both sides of me both put out a bowl with candy and a PLEASE TAKE ONE sign. It worked.

The house on one side, the guy has a DeLorean. He had it in his driveway with the back and the vertical doors open in a "Back To The Future" type of set. Kids and parents loved it. Later, he tried to move the car and it wouldn't start. One woman was looking at it then came to my door. I asked her is the guy ever got the car started. She said no. I told her I loaned him some jumper cables, but they didn't work. She said he really needed plutonium. I said I was fresh out.

The other side, they had a bright red light on their porch and music playing.

We had more kids than I can ever remember. There is a Korean Catholic church two blocks away and an elementary school in the next block. I think both had some sort of party then unleashed the kids. We were mobbed between about 7:15 and 7:30. Then nothing for nearly an hour, then another mob for 15 minutes. Shut it down at 8:30 to save some 3 Musketeers and Almond Joy for my wife.

To me, the scariest part of Halloween is waking up the next day and its suddenly November.

 

What this guy and his crew does is pretty high art but he ain't long for the world.

AC/DC is cool and all, but "You Shook Me All Night Long" is just so annoying. Overplayed junk.

 

Weird dude at mechanics: What can I do for ya, boss man?

I want to see System of a Down play in Armeniam.

I find their style of heavy metal to be tedious, but I would like to see them live.

 

The whole “boss” thing is getting out of hand.

 

I've been in the California desert the last few days and the mountain ranges are so overbearing unlike the mountains I see everyday in Vermont.
