Or, like Marvin Wood in real life, he moved on to a bigger school after winning the title.

The Oxford English Dictionary has chosen its "Word of the Year," members and moderators.
    It's "ominshambles."
Defined as a series or conglomeration of terrible mistakes and gaffes.
    I'm unimpressed.
I'm with the folks who recommended "kakistocracy" - defined as a government by the worst possible people.
    It's current and relevant.
So rich with meaning on many levels.
How could anything else have been considered?

Out of all the places that "Where the Hell is Matt" has danced, I have been in the exact spot of 6 places and been to the area of 15.

Pouring Tide into the washing machine this morning, I had a childlike urge to down it like a shot. I'm not saying I'd actually drink it, but I am saying I'd buy Tide-flavored lollipops.

This isn't so random. I just published a 90-page book called "Chalk It Up" about the Graffiti Vault in the art gallery I manage.

    http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/3865408

Short story: We turned the vault (this used to be a bank) into a Graffiti Vault by painting the walls into chalkboards and putting boxes of chalk in there for customers, tourists and townies to go nuts on the walls. It's been a big hit since launching October 13. I've captured about 90% of the stuff and now have compiled it into a book. It's a pretty cool coffee table book. Soft cover, color, nice paper, really fun journey.

Happy with the way it turned out. If any of you 1) have loved ones into art and graffiti, would make a great present and 2) if you're near Bennington soon, come into the gallery and Chalk It Up!

And now back to random thoughts.

I just spent an hour in a bar hitting on two women who are at least 15 years older than me and each have multiple kids. Got nowhere. One is married, other has a boyfriend. I fucking hate being single. So over it.
