Which is more strange: Someone has never seen "West Wing" or someone has never seen "Blues Brothers"?

West Wing because it was a network show.

I loved when President Martin Sheen snuffed out a butt on the floor of church then cursed Jesus. It was a Pussy Riot moment before Pussy Riot. It's also the only scene of West Wing I've watched.

Until 10 months ago, I hadn't seen either. Or Wizard of Oz.

Well, I still haven't seen Shawshank, but I did read the novella.

Like I said, I knew I'd love West Wing but didn't get into it when it was running live, so I waited until I had a chance to watch it all in its entirety. Which is the best way to watch a TV show. I don't know what those poor schmucks who lived before Netflix and such did.

  8. If you like political shows, Hulu produced one called "Battleground" last year that was a mockumentary look at a Senate campaign in Wisconsin.

Holy crap, I thought you were kidding when you wrote this. What an awesome episode. The closing scene of the second season gave me chills.

I didn't care for the first season finale. Assassination is just such an obvious place to go in a show about the President and his staff. But that second season finale shit was the shit.

I feel this world is a little brighter since reading the AP story from tonight's BCS title game and learning there is a man in this world named Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

His name is a Monica Lewinski joke, and the laugh track for said joke.

When "That 70s Show" came out in 1998, it was based on the year 1976 (22 years).

So, if "That 90s Show" came on the air this year, it would be based on the year 1991.
