Just saw the 60 Minutes story on Jack Dorsey of Twitter fame.

Quiet guy but they floated an idea he might run for mayor of NYC one day.

Anyway, he has a new company called SquareUp which lets you ring up CC sales on your phone or iPad. Anyone use it? You can sign up to receive a free Square and it all looks super simple to use. They only take 2.75% from each transaction (a little more if you manually punch in the numbers) and money is deposited into your bank account the next day.

BTW, cool little story on how Dorsey came up with the idea to create Twitter. Seems like a cool dude.

 

One of the most annoying things on this site is when people do not shorten long links causing people to have to scroll to the right to read full posts.

 

That is actually funny because I've thought the same thing many times but didn't know what caused it.

 

For only the second or third time in my long career, neither of my hoops teams are involved in the NCAA or any of the other basketball tournaments.

Oh well, there is always spring football.
