I always click the last page of a locked thread. Train wreck fascination.

I sometimes do that, too, just to see what was said/done to get the thread locked. It's like watching NASCAR for the wrecks.

Great thread: The last post of every locked thread here from the start.

On a separate note, I've been reading tons of Paris Review interviews lately. The one I'm reading now is Kerouac. He's a funny motherfucker.

True friends - the ones who have your back no matter what and won't talk shit behind your back - are getting harder and harder to find.

Just googled some pics of her, wow, she is even better looking and I loved her 15 years ago.
MxPx wrote a song about her back in the 90s:

Zombie is their pinnacle IMO, much better than that sappy Linger bullshit. Yeah, it got them recognition and gave Dreams a reboot to the chart, but Zombie was what got me into them.

Way, way past your deadline, Xan ... but the first LP I bought was this:

Picked it up in the summer or fall of 1983, from Rose Records in Chicagoland. Long live record stores!

Before that, my uncle ... much to my mom's annoyance ... had given me "For Those About to Rock" by AC/DC as an 11th birthday present. You can't go wrong with a rock song that features exploding cannons. :D

Can't go wrong with either one of those records. Both quality work by each group.

I remember the night MTV debuted "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" ... ahh, good ol' days of Night Ranger.

    Ha!

Actually, BYH and I have discussed our mutual enjoyment of "Midnight Madness" before.

    For about 8 seconds. ;)
