Two weeks ago, Mrs. Stain was driving to work and got one of those "school bus puts its lights on at the same moment she's coming up on it" moments and drove through rather than slam on her brakes. She immediately calls me freaking out.

Today, a cop shows up at my door asking for her and then asks me if I know anything about it. He took her phone number.

She's got a perfect driving record, but in Missouri the penalties are through the roof. This has serious suckage potential.

 

Indeed it was an ill-fated attempt at humor. My apologies for goofing it. For the record, it's a group of salamanders that's called a congress.

 

Now the lizards are insulted.
