You can just make a list and hide them from your timeline...then just check that list when you want to look it up.
So, yeah, I guess I "like" the page, but at the same time I don't see crap from them....if that makes sense.

This is some seriously great snark. Does it make me a bad person that i enjoyed it as much as I did?

I've never read a word written by Dan Brown, but that made me sniggle.

It's even funnier if you've read Dan Brown.

I was thinking today about the unusuall career of Dean Butler. He marries Laura Ingalls & then, without doing much of anything in between (that I know of), is revealed in a guest spot as the father of Buffy Sommers. Married to Half-Pint & father of the slayer, not to mention his sister in law Darlene.

Linda Blair is in her mid 50s and her body is still bumpin'.
I believe if I ever saw this woman naked in person -my- head would do a 360.

I call mom for Mother's Day. Then she gives the phone to dad and it's just the same old question-driven conversation.

Instead of engaging my new pursuit he tries to inflect his voice with a bit of excitement "Anything NEW!?"

    "Like what?"

    "I don't know, anything new?!

And I know exactly what he's doing except I'm really just wishing he'd stop asking fucking questions for once and approach the conversation "I saw you're coaching Little League ... " and yadda yadda.

I know this is who he is. He's the total introvert who never learned how to talk to his sons, so everything is driven by questions because it's a way never to have to open up while making someone else have to do all the talking. Every single conversation.

"Are you talking girls? No, I don't have a girlfriend."

"That's not what I'm talking about -- anything NEW!?"

"Spit it out. What are you trying to say."

At this point I'm done playing the fucking game: "Yes, I'm coaching Little League, but I'm sure you read the email to mom."

Zero substance filled the next 3 uncomfortable minutes of conversation.

So I try to engage him with a question: "Any words of advice on what I should teach my players? They're 5 and 6 years old."

"Tell 'em not to get hurt!" followed by a half-hearted laugh.

At that point I was ready to be done with the conversation.

Arizona State women's basketball coach Charli Turner Thorne always reminded me of Linda Blair...

    Your dad also?

Mine has now taken to text messaging so he doesn't have to talk to either of his sons. It's because his wife (not my mom and I won't call her step anything because it's disrespectful to my own mom) hates my brother and I.

    Dear hospital,

please release my father from your evil clutches soon. We'd like him home to rest up from his most recent stay.

    Thanks a lot!
