You ask a question, someone answers, you poo-poo the answer.

    You don't want our help.

And the " ... you of all people line" is as hilarious as you leading us to believe you want our help.

I already take medication for depression and anxiety, I don't like going to a shrink. I've done it twice before, as you know, and it never gets me anywhere.

Xan the reason I said that was because I don't think YOU, not anyone else, are in any kind of position to pass judgment on others.

The only answer I didn't like was, well, yours.

Who's passing judgment? You asked for help, I gave you an option.

You then try to flip the switch on me. Which leads me to believe you didn't want anyone's help in the first place.

This is a medical problem, not a mental one. I could tell you my foot is bleeding because I accidentally dropped a knife on it and you'd tell me it was a subconscious suicide attempt because I am wound too tight.

You know it's a medical problem?

Lots of things manifest themselves physically that aren't physical issues.

Well, no, I'd say you dropped a knife on your foot.

On completely separate tangent, though, I'd say you ARE wound like coil and have several issues to work out and that there's nothing wrong with talking to somebody especially if you have insurance that pays for it. That's not an attack on you. Everyone one of us has issues to work out.

That being said, now you're confident it's a "medical problem" yet I read that and wonder why you asked us for our opinions in the first place. You don't get to fish for sympathy only to decide "Who does THAT asshole think he is trying to decode me?"

I have a hard time seeing this as a mental issue.

I care about your well-being which is why I think you should go talk to someone.

If you don't want to do that, go see your doctor and get a blood test.

Mentally I'm fine. I feel better than I have in a long time. I like my job again, LA is a cool place to live. My coworkers are much easier to work with.

I haven't been travelling as much as I'd like but after flying from NYC to LA five times in three weeks (including a roundtrip in one day which may have been the dumbest thing I've ever done), I'd be happy to not get on a plane for another month.

    It's probably your weight.

You could be a MD. They blame a lot on weight.

I think it may have something to do with the fact that I spend six to eight hours a day working in the sun.
