And in other toe-related thoughts, there are few small pleasures in life greater than the feel of brand new socks on your feet.

 

Why is "Pregnancy wife" is irrational? I want my rational "sure, go for a beer, see you in an hour, I'm sleeping anyway since it's 1 a.m." wife back.

 

Oh, poor Chef. Although my question was more in reference to, "Given another million years, will evolution still see a need for 10 toes?" It was not so much about self-amputation/mutilation, even in the name of cheap alternatives to modern medicine.

And, agreed on new socks. Definitely one of life's simple pleasures.

The light fixtures in my new apartment look like 4 perfectly round boobs (with protruding nipples) hanging from the ceiling.
In other news, I love my new place.

 

I was looking at my computer monitor and it says "Samsung" on it. Which led me to wonder what Samsung means. So I looked it up. Turns out it's Korean for "Three Stars" or some such. If ever start a Korean electronics company, I will name it whatever is Korean for "Five Stars." Why be the Marriott of electronics when you can be the Bellagio?

 

Woke up this morning thinking how great a President Mitt Romney would be.

My buddy had one growing up. He said they had no idea at the time that Fido was such a generic dog name.

 

Forget Hot Pockets, has anyone ever eaten Jack In The Box tacos and actually felt good about themselves afterward?

 

I don't remember the last time I ate any fast food and felt good about myself afterward.

I did have an SE once who absolutely loved Jack in the Box.
