Random Thoughts

I had a dream early this morning. It involved two former girlfriends. The one I loved more than anything, the one who lives in Gotham City now, ran back into my arms when we recognized each other, and we hugged like the moment would continue into forever. Nothing in a dream ever has felt more real than she did in my clutches. It was fantastic to hug her again. Alas, dreams don't come true. And they end. And this one did, when the snow plow roared past. Our embrace was over. Whatever.

I'm in carb-overload.

Just raided the fridge for a leftover lunch. Heapin' helpin' of turkey (dark meat, of course), hashbrown casserole, sweet potato casserole, and chicken and dressing -- made without onions, specially for me .

I'll be asleep in 30 minutes.

 

I've put just over 19,000 miles on my car in the last 13 months. That's what I get for living in BFE.

 

I've put 30,000 miles on my truck since last October.

 

14,000 since June 1 -- and I was out of town for three months immedately following the purchase.

 

OK, OK, you guys win. I just hope you don't drive a plastic roller skate like I do

 

In 4 years, I've put almost 100,000 on my car. In college, I worked every weekend two and a half hours away from my school for two years. It's also been driven on at least one LONG trip every six months, and in three weeks before I moved in with Doc it was driven for about 60 hours, I have NO idea how many miles.

 

Hey, I have a brand new key!

 

I'm sick, and every six hours I take another slug of Nyquil, hoping that when I finally wake up, I'll be well again.

 

I just sent my pages. The editor is in dire need of news photos so I told him I'd go out looking for photos if he bought me lunch. He gave me a $20. Sweet. Talk to y'all later.

 

Now that's how it should work.
