No matter what, the Bears' playoff run will last at least four quarters longer than the Packers'.

    Bears still suck.

Worst No. 1 seed? Maybe. We'll see.

It would be nice to see the Bears roll up a big lead and give Rex a break in the fourth quarter.

Rex ought to earn his own fourth-quarter break by making sure the other team doesn't roll up a big lead on his fuckups.

I can only hope because I have no idea what kind of game he will play. He's capable of great games (he led the NFL in games with a 100-plus QB rating) and equally awful games (also led the league in games with an under 40 rating). I fear the latter is more likely given the magnitude, pressure, etc. of the situation.

I saw a stat a few weeks ago that he led the league in "passes dropped by would-be interceptors," if there is such a thing, and if it's even quantifiable. I mean, that's just nuts.

As I said in October, which produced all sorts of breast-beating from you and Good Doctor and the like, he ran up some gaudy numbers against some CRAP defenses early on.

I was waiting for the first idiotic post about how I was hyping the Bears. As a Bears fan my whole life, I know better than to become a fanboy. I was excited Grossman and the team were playing so well early on, but I was always waiting for the ax to fall. In fact, until the latest NFL threads, my last post specifically relating to Grossman said the following (follow this closely now): "Rex Grossman sucks." At the time he did. Last week he did. As I've said here many times before, if he plays badly, the Bears lose, the same Bears I said on the NFC poll thread I have no faith in right now. So why don't you go watch that videotape of the Seahawks getting screwed in the Super Bowl?

He just sucks, period. Honestly, at this point they'd be better off with Peter Tom Willis or Steve Walsh.

I'm watching my Oiler tapes right now. It's playoff time.

I loved that team like I would love my retarded child.
