It would have to be combed like a swirl from a soft ice cream machine

I finally figured out why the same actors and actresses make the rounds of all the cable and syndicated shows.
I was watching "The L Word" - who's got two thumbs and likes girl-on-girl action? This guy. - and it was like a hit parade of cable shows. Hey, Dana's dad is also Col. Tigh.
One of the girl's on the show looked familiar and I realized that she has been in Battlestar Galactica, Eureka, Smallville, Stargate, The 4400 and probably more.
I was watching the credits for The L Word and I realized that most of it is filmed in Vancouver. And, after some investigation, like, all the cable and syndicated shows are filmed in Vancouver. So it suddenly made sense to me. Vancouver is like the Canadian version of Hollywood and it is easy for someone to make the rounds from show to show.
It was a completely random thought.

Saw he lost to his wife in the season-long NFL picks. And actually, in those columns, I don't even read his stuff anymore. Every time, I scroll straight down to his wife's weekly rant. Much funnier, more to the point.

Only a few more days until NCAA baseball teams can officially begin practicing!

Yes, I am a dork, but we all have our odd passions.

I don't really follow one school. I follow the game because I have a passion for it. I like Vanderbilt for the way they recruit pitchers and produce smart players. I like Kansas for how they've turned it around. I like Wichita State because my high school coach played there. I like Mississippi State because Ron Polk is as first class a coach as you'll find in the college ranks, any sport.

But mainly, I like seeing the game played with enthusiasm and with just enough rough-around-the-edges flaws to show just how hard it really is to play baseball.

Plus, college ballplayers are great interviews.
