Wasn't that Claire someone who was on an MTV show once? Wow, I think I am drunk.

Olivia Hussey was the original Juliet.

Claire Danes forced that horrid film with Leonardo DiCaprio on us.

You didn't specify which version. Also, it was far from horrid. I really liked it and actually a prof showed it in a Lit Crit class. I might have to put it on my Netflix Queue now that you have recommended it. Thanks UTOUShooter.

I think it'd be kinda cool if he was sitting in a lazyboy, eating peanut butter from the jar with his finger and giggling like a school girl at a slumber party while watching a Roseanne rerun.

He could be watching the old TWIB where Jose Lind was doing backflips (ala O. Smith) and jumping over John Cangelosi's head. Or maybe the one where Junior Ortiz attempted to cement his legacy as the 'Latin Bob Uecker' by telling stupid jokes. Of course, he could be watching the Baseball Bunch and admiring Ted Simmons' ability to sign his name with each hand during a talk to the kids about switch hitting.

Or he might be sleeping. I still bet the jar of peanut butter is somewhere close to him.

    My favorite show.

"Cock, cock, jizzum, grandma, cock!" is how I'm feeling right now. Three hours into deadline day and I have 7 pages. 7 goddam pages this week. We have 6 hockey teams, 12 basketball teams, 3 indoor track teams, alpine and Nordic ski teams, ski jumpers, and I have to pidgeon-hole as much as I can into 7 pages. What's the bloody point?

    Cock!

Tongue update, for the oh-so-very few of you who care.

Took out a chunk the size of a big butter bean. Good thing is it wasn't invasive, so they took less than what they could have. It was on the underside and side, so I still have all my tastebuds. In their search for more, they found none (in the esophagus and larynx). It feels like he used baling twine for the suture. The summitch hurts really, really bad today, and I had to wait until 9 a.m. for the drug store to open. I'm a little better, now. Thank you, Percocet.

I also stand to lose some weight. Haven't had anything to eat in nearly 48 hours. Stomach's growling, but right now all I can do is drink water.

As far as the quitting smoking goes. Well, let's just say that nicotine is highly addictive, and I KICKED ITS FUCKING NO GOOD, GOAT-SMELLING ASS!!!!
The first four days were veritable bastards. I would have swum the butterfly stroke through 20 miles of 10-foot deep, uranium-enriched rhinoceros diahrrea just to smell an ash tray. But, I'm over that now.

I feel truly blessed. I honestly think God was giving me a wake-up call, and now He's given me a second chance. I'm not going to waste it by using tobacco products again. On top of the health benefits, I stand to save $5.41 per day. That's $75.74 per pay period, or $1,969.24 per year. That is a good chunk of change.

So, there's yer tongue update. Thanks to all who cared.
