Random Thoughts

I was going to have some leftover pizza for lunch. Then it fell on my dirty kitchen floor. Now my lunch will be wondering why God keeps making me be alive.

 

It's worth it. Lo and behold, one of the girls at a local club (now burned down) was my neighbor in the building I live in. We've become friends though she's a vagabond who goes the way the wind blows. I got a call from her last night. She's back from Texas where the guy she fell in love with was executed a few weeks ago. I think she wants money. She writes like the dickens; should write a book.

 

You sure you're not talking about boots' neighbor?

 

I didn't Boots her. One day we walked out of rooms at the same time and laughed because we knew who each other was through the strip club. I can see how people here think I'm making up Bootsian tales, but everything I write here is the truth. As I told frmsped on the moving thread, I'll make up stories if that floats your boat.

Songbird is a solid poster, but he does have a tendency to bury the lede.

 

Yeah, she went to Texas to be with the guy who was convicted of shooting and killing a cop 10 or 12 years ago. She met him through the Web and they sparked a friendship that turned more serious in the last year. A day before his execution (lethal injection) she filed for marriage papers though I don't think they got married. She wrote a poignant story about the final few days.

 

I strategically place the lede to get folks to read the entire post ;-)

 

Of course I was only jesting when I said that Songbird.

 

If you wrote his life's story, what in hell WOULD the lede be?

 

Maybe you should wonder why you don't clean your kitchen floor... ;D
