Between my sig and buckweavers, methinks BYH has a buttsex fixation.

 

i can't decide which is a more miserable errand: the post office or the bank. i almost never have to use the bank anymore thanks to ATMs. i seriously wonder if i should buy a postage meter just so i can avoid the post office. the benefit to my sanity may outweigh the financial cost.

 

It just took me two hours to take a damn blood test for a new job. Why can't I pee in a cup easily like men?

 

Nothing like standing in a frozen barn to watch an hour of girls hockey practice awaiting an interview afterward with a quartet of 4-year players for a feature. In the next 15 minutes I'll decide if I want to drive 44 miles to cover a local boys hoops team playing another team because they are on each side of the final playoff spot with 2 more weeks to play. Decisions, decisions.

 

I just had the joy of covering a baseball game in 38 degree weather with a nice 15 mph wind blowing.

Local team shoots 80% in the 1st quarter then doesn't make a bucket in the 2nd quarter, can't figure out a box-and-1 the rest of the game and loses by 10. The drive home on the back roads was peaceful. I was the only car for at least 20 miles through Andover and Wilmot through Shaker Village until reaching the lake. The highway serves its purpose, but back roads offer a great sense of serenity when you want to feel like the only one in the universe. In this part of the universe, it's 9 degrees.

 

And only your bottle of Jager to keep you warm.
