My car radio is supposed to automatically turn off the moment I swing open the driver's side car door, except sometimes that hasn't happened the past three weeks. It's a 60-40 chance the radio turns off, though I'm starting to see at least one trend now.

When it turns off, it's usually daylight.
When it says on, it's usually at night.

Not sure whether that means anything, but it's annoying to have to turn the radio off when I leave the car, simply because the car doesn't recognize that I'm about to hop out.

I woke up at 2:20 a.m. with a sore throat. The only thing that helps soothe my throat when it's sore is raisins. Lots of them. I put a honking amount in my mouth and chew 'em till the consistency turns to juice, then slowly let the juice dribble down my throat. Sounds strange, but it works for me; usually relieves the sore throat within 15 minutes. But I'm out of raisins so I drive to the gas-mart where I've bought raisins before. Many times. But now the gas-mart doesn't sell raisins because, the young turk cashier said, no one buys raisins anymore. I told him I do, and he said he doesn't remember anyone ever buying raisins. "We have yogurt raisins," he said. "Plus Walgrens is still open." I didn't want to drive 2 miles so I settled on the yogurt raisins. Unfortunately, they're heavily coated yogurt raisins, so it's tough to work a mouthful in a juicy consistency; too much yogurt. When did this world decide that selling, you know, plain raisins was a moot point?

My cat has recovered from jumping into a full tub of water earlier to day. He no longer hates me for it.

Cats do need baths every so often. I used to wash mine with rosemary mint shampoo. He hated it, but he smelled so good.

This was supposed to be a bath for me. Cat didn't realize there was water in the tub. It was hilarious.

I thought the same thing! I'd have taken pictures, but I didn't have a camera nearby, plus I had to dry him off.
