Actually, my body is apparently unaffected by any mexican food, even Taco Hell.

Guess I'm just lucky that way.

Random thought:

I am "reading" All The King's Men for the first time. Well, someone else is reading it to me on CD (by actor Michael Emerson).

I sincerely hope the 21-hour narrated version is not more entertaining than the 3-hour movie that's about to come out.

But then again, Emerson's got the accent down. So the one I've got is absolutely enthralling.

Sportschick...don't beat yourself up too much. Cops and firefighters almost always vote democrat.

 

OK, two random thoughts ...

1) Am I the only one who has a hard time telling apart character actors James Karen and Bob Gunton? The reason I ask is I'd seen Shawshank Redemption recently, then I saw an episode of Star Trek: TNG, and just a few moments ago I finished Poltergeist, all three of which starred one of the two above actors.

2) I was playing in my first-ever Madden Bowl on Madden 2006 in Superstar mode, and all the players are No. 0, they have vericose vein arms and run about as fast as a gimpy, fat Southern sheriff chasing a wayward moonshiner.

 

You're probably right. After all, this guy's a sheriff and a Democrat (and the best looking man I've ever seen in person)!
