I think someone here said that they had dated a cop once, if this is right I have a question for you.
How do you get past the hours they work?
this gut I have been talking to is one and we are never on line at the same time arrrr. but he is a nice guy so far. And hope that we can make the time thing work. He doesn't live very far from me but, it is pretty close to someone else I would not like to run in to with him. That might be a little awkward. But back to the question how did you handle the hours? And what they did I would be worried all the time. You never know anymore how a routine traffic stop will turn out.
    Please help.

Someone two houses down from mine had flooding in the bottom floor of their home, thanks to all that rain here in Texas yesterday. Ugh.

Seems to me you have two objectives here:

    1.) figuring out hours.
2.) pointing out the fact the new guy you're talking to lives really close to "someone you don't want to run into with him." Conveniently, your ex reads this board.

The location has nothing to do with the hours. You are just throwing that out there to throw it out there, and it makes you look petty and pathetic.

why does it matter if you're not online at the same time? Do you want the "time thing to work" to see each other in person.....or send IM's?

It sounds like you know this won't work.....you're already worried about his hours, safety, and online time. Why force it?

I'm guessing the hours are a lot like trying to date a sports journalist.

Precisely, which is why dating one works out well for me.

You know you've reached the nadir of your domestic life when your lunch consists of breakfast Hot Pockets.

Are those any good Kaylee? I love the pepperoni pizza hot pockets, but are the breakfast hot pockets even decent?

Shit, that reminds me . . . I should call my dad and make sure they didn't have any issues with that.
