Hmmm.. I posted on this thread and didn't know it which could only mean Doc was on my laptop last night instead of his own.

I will agree with Moddy and others. I love the fall. It was around 40 degrees the other night, probably 50 last night. That is perfection.

Also, I need to find a job. I don't like being unemployed at all.

Both the Times and Post's TV critics praised the new James Woods series "Shark" to the skies in their previews, and it absolutely SUCKED. It was directed by Spike Lee and it SUCKED. WTF??

If I thought that was at all within the realm of possibility, I'd sell my soul for a night like that, along with the video and photo rights which may accompany it.

I don't know about cartoons, but my 9-year-old recently caught an episode of the Three Stooges (one station here shows them Saturday nights). Good sign: he laughed like crazy. Better sign: He didn't try any Stooge moves on his siblings (as his father once did). (It also gave me a chance to explain that "Jerome Horwitz Elementary School" in his Captain Underpants books was named after Curly.)

Then he was explaining to his grandmother about the Three Stooges: "They were these guys, and there were grey, and they were so stupid!!!!!" Ah, he has learned that in the olden times, colors hadn't yet been invented.

I've got some of the original Tom and Jerry cartoons, complete with Mammy TwoShoes, from the 1940s and my 4-year-old son absolutely loves that stuff. Loves it!

OK, so my previous post wasn't a thought, I just thought it was funny.

However, he's a thought/question if you write this headline, is it clever or should you be fired/repremanded

P.S. -- i am not attesting to the real-ness of this photo. It was in Maxim

You should only be fired if the photo appears as a white box with a red X in it.

When I was little and watching "The Little Rascals," I used to think the exact same thing. :-\

No, because he's made the 10 grand in about six months after starting with $25(!), and only bets a certain percentage of his bankroll now. He studies it like a science, and makes more correct bets than anyone I know. He won't lose.
