Your nine-hole score or the temperature?

 

The temperature... my nine-hole score would be way higher (golf is clearly not my game...).

 

58 degrees in the mountains feels SO much colder than I remember it. I used to live in a place where it was still 80 degrees or higher this time last year.

 

I went to go pick up some food. The bill was like $25 and they gave me the food, but when I got home I realized the order was about twice the size it should have been. They gave us about $70 worth of food, and the name was wrong. So I called, and they told me to keep this order and I could still come pick up my order. Is my karma still okay?

 

You made the requisite phone call. Your karma is fine.

But if you wanna share some of that food with me....

 

Done. You want some spaghetti, chicken fried steak or calabash chicken?

 

Last night, I hit rock bottom...

I bought jeans at, of all places, Wal-Mart. And like 'em. This is probably worthy of its own thread, but I'm just too damn depressed to type any more.

 

Ooh, spaghetti. I'm on deadline, can you bring it to me?

I'm only two or three time zones away.

 

I must say, that food was amazing. We only ate our original meals but the rest will be fantastic for the next two days. That's how much extra food we ended up with.

No, rubbing it in would be telling you everything we got.

 

So I just worked a 12-hour day -- covering volleyball in the morning and a really crappy high school football game at night -- I can't see straight, I'm hungry and I'm tired, yet I'ved decided to stay at work and watch Wednesday's episode of Lost on my work computer because I can't watch it on its regular night and can't afford high-speed Internet at home because I get paid shit. Is that sad?

And that might be the greatest run-on sentence I've ever written. Or its not. I don't know I'm delirious.
