I buy a quart of vanilla fudge ice cream tonight. Tear the sucker open and dig in. Scoop, eat, swallow. No fudge in that bite. Repeat process 10 times. There was one little splotch of fudge. I'm very upset.

I bought Halloween candy yesterday because it was on sale. That might have been a mistake. I've already opened it. . . DOH!

I think there is no way that the voice in the Toyota Tundra commercial, the one with the goateed guy wielding a hammer, belongs to the guy wielding the hammer. I think it's the worst lip-synch job since Ashlee Simpson on SNL.

Tomorrow will be only the second funeral I've ever attended. While I know I've been lucky in that regard, it doesn't make tomorrow any easier to deal with.

And, c'mon, a Toyota Tundra surviving a direct hit from a meteor? P'shaw.

As one of the guys watching would say, "a wickee-wickee-wickee."

You are REALLY fortunate, IJAG. I lost count of how many I've attended. God, I hate 'em too!

I went to three funerals of close friends while I was in high school, so I guess I was unlucky enough to start early.

No person close to me has died in my entire lifetime (34 years), so I've been very fortunate in that regard. The few funerals I've been to were for parents of friends or friends of other people in my life, and they were hard enough.

Indeed they are. Remember the people that used to hand out pennies and nickels for Halloween? I HATED that.
