The other night on my local newscast, they interviewed a bearded lady. No irony, no context -- a true bearded lady -- just thrown in at random in an otherwise uneventful news piece on some charity event.

When they came back to anchor, his look of incredulousness, while trying to fight off laughter, was priceless.

 

I need an envelope.

No, that's not a gift. That's for me.

 

Watching my babies growing up is so hard. My oldest just turned 5 in Oct. and my youngest will be 4 next sunday. We are going to see Happy Feet and maybe go out to eat.
They want there dad to go, but I don't and Idon't know how to tell them, after all they are just babies. So if any of you have a thought or two on this please let me know.
Or should I just buck up and deal with it?

Very good point and believe it or not I try to get along with him for the girls, And I went ahead and asked him if he wanted to go with us and he said" Well I don't think I would have any fun doing that"
So I thought to myself at least I tried. But I still have to tell the girls that daddy is busy and I hate lying to them. But I will do what have to. And thank you for the advice. It actually helped me to vent.
