But who'd take over the poll? Won't you please think of the voters.

I installed two-way mirrors at John Wayne's pad in Brentwood, and he came to the door in a dress.

My mom has met John Ratzenburger, because he was in my hometown last year filming his show for the Travel channel, Taste of America or whatever it's called.

I saw Toby Keith earlier this year at an OU basketball game and I once was shopping for a formal dress in my hometown mall and I looked up and there was Alice Cooper, wandering through Dillards. I about died and then revived long enough to explain to the friend I was with who he was. I also met SHEDaisy at Country Stampede through a meet-n-greet backstage and I got my picture taken with them.

Other than that, I've only met athletes through the job.

I talked to former NBAer David Wesley the other day. I saw him in the hallway downstairs from my office.

    George W. Bush. Seriously.
When I was about 22 (about 1992) I was working part-time at a paper in Texas and I was walking in at about 5 p.m. and George W. Bush was alone, standing the near the steps outside the door. I don't think anyone recognized him. He was fumbling with a cell phone perhaps? Not sure if they were around then. But his dad had just been president, so it was still kind of cool. I should have asked him to go for a beer.

I sat in coach across the aisle from Vanilla Ice recently. Not one soul recognized him, for which I almost felt bad. I lost a bet with my traveling companion that it was him; all it took was a quick Google search, given his copious amount of tattoos.

I should also mention that I met Carmen Electra a few years ago. My thoughts were that she looked younger, and shorter, in person. Dave Navarro was a really nice guy as well. Good with kids.
