    Not exactly celebrity, but...Rollie Fingers in the Phoenix airport. My Dad asked if he still had the mustache, I said "if he didn't, do you think I'd have recognized him?"

    Here's a recent one, but not mine:

    My uncle just attended Yankees fantasy camp. My mom, a bigger baseball (but not Yankee) fan than him, went down to see him Saturday.

    And that day, Richard Gere joined the camp. My mom is still flipping out.

    From her e-mail: "He had his glasses on and his gray hair hung out under his cap. Wow! He weakly hit to second 2 times. The second time he got on and eventually made it to third."

    My uncle (famous only in the Charlotte senior men's league) hit a triple off Tommy John.

    Sorry if reviving this thread is annoying. ... I hit the gym really late today, at an odd time for me, and actor Gabriel Byrne was working out at the same time I was. I knew he lives near me, but I've never seen him around. We did side-by-side crunches. Unfortunately, it may be the highlight of my week. I didn't go all dorky and stare. Just a nod and a hi.
