If you're up for a move to Toronto, there's an opening in my building. Dogs always welcome. (Owner had 2 bulldogs)

He is a maremma sheepdog, the Italian cousin of the Pyr.

I've had the problem as well. Mine is a beagle-hound who weighs about 40.

So I just told 'em she weighed 25. They have the rule to discourage, like you said, monstrosities that are sure to do a little more wear and tear. I told them she weighed 25, they even saw her, said, OK.

Just lie. Seriously, no one, especially landlords, can tell a 10-pound difference. ... Especially when they don't care if a 35-pound dog moves in.

But, see, that's the most unfair part. My Shep hasn't done a bit of damage to anything anywhere on this property. If I have to move, hopefully, my prospective landlord will listen to a reference given by my current one.
