Restaurant chains that no longer exist

    We have one A&W left in Rhode Island, on U.S. 44 in Smithfield. Half-mile away from our first Sonic.

    There are a number in the Toronto area including one at the mall up the street from me, they advertise a fair bit on TV

    Haven't driven I-95 or I-75 in the South for decades. Do Stucky's still exist? Seems as if there was one at every exit in the 1960s.

    There are about 20 of them left, mostly in Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas. My go-to years ago was the one at Anahuac, which had a nice rice paddy behind it where one could take a quiet leak and enjoy the stars.

    Mmmmmm, pecan rolls...

    Last one I walk in Kansas, a half hour west of Topeka, about 20 years ago. Pecan logs.
