1. I have never ridden a bike.

2. In tennis, I serve lefty but hit all of my other shots righty.

3. I have a phobia about wearing new clothes -- I think that it will bring me bad luck.

 

LOL - I knew what that was going to be before I even clicked the link.

 

I'm nothing if not predictable.

 

Here's three more.

1.) I recently won my first ever sports-writing award (First place, Sports Story, Rhode Island Press Association. What up!) and my initial reaction was "Man, I need to get a WWE Championship belt now!"

2.) I do laundry once a month. You can tell the length of my cycle by what I'm wearing because I wear a nice button down with black dress pants (Week 1) and then it turns into a decent button down with khakis (Week 2) and then it's short-sleeved polo shirt with jeans (Week 3) and whatever the hell is left (Week 4).

3.) I will often spend 20-25 minutes in the bathroom when taking a dump. Five minutes of it is doing my business, the rest of the time is spent on the internet/reading.

 

Welsh. Close enough.

Random fact #4: The previous occupant of my son's bedroom is a current major-league baseball player. And my son's best-friend's father was a starter on a Super Bowl champion.

 

I'm also Welsh.

I once had a phone conversation as a child with the late Donnie Moore when he was a Cubs reliever.

I can't walk up or down a flight of stairs without counting them.

 

1) I won a boatload of money on a game show, on national TV...and had to act like I didn't know the host. (We had been on a journalism panel a year before)
2) Once met MC Hammer at a post-game Chiefs party and I only got in after telling the bouncer I was "Matt Blundin"
3) Barely dunked (last week!) at age 36 after doing P90x. I'm 6'3".
