-- I bite my fingernails. And sometimes my toenails.

-- I once fell through an icy pond. My brother saved my life.

-- Until college, I never attended the same school more than two years.

At least half my posts on SJ are while I'm dropping the kids off at the pool.

I broke the "ring" toe on one of my feet when I was 8, it hasn't grown since and sits on top of its neighbors (therefore, when I buy shoes, they're always either too wide for one foot or too narrow for the other).

A trophy once awarded to the Central Hockey League's leading scorer sits in my house. The league re-did the trophies when it merged with the Western Professional Hockey League, the old one ended up in the possession of the local team, and when they were getting rid of some old memorabilia after the team left the CHL, I ended up with the trophy.

The first three newspapers I had job interviews for -- I was runner=up for one job, got the other two -- my wife also interviewed at the same three places before we met. We worked together at the third, met and married.

Bonus: I once played miniature golf competitively.

-- I played baseball up until my freshman year of high school, when I gave up sports to be in the marching band. I played the tuba and trombone, fwiw.
-- I was raised Methodist and went to church every Sunday with my grandparents. I attended the same church for the first 20 years of my life.
-- My dad dropped me off at my grandparents one Sunday afternoon and said "I'll see you in a couple of weeks." I was 10. I never saw him or talked to him again for 10 years.

-- I rode in a blimp above the Indy 500 parade in 1988.

-- I am in management and in a union simultaneously.

-- My middle toe is longer than my big toe or the toe between my big toe and my middle toe. It's called Irish or Celtic Toe or Royal Irish Toe. Maybe three percent of the population has that and its a sign of sexual prowess.

No seriously, LOOK IT UP! I read it somewhere. Not on the internet right now, because I couldn't find it. Stupid fucking internet.

    4. I did not mean to start that thread!! It was a Friday afternoon of utter nonsense, so I started that thread as a joke. But, since you brought it up, my virginity story involves a horrifying motel, the police, my parents, and a gay man in the Navy. That's all I'm going to say about that.
