    They could only keep him in a shell for so long. I wonder what his presence in the St. Louis clubhouse will be. I'm sure there is some resentment.

    I don't know what you're talking about. I know people who know people who know someone who was a stringer who covered a Cardinals game in 1996 for a small newspaper in Kansas. I know how LaRussa's clubhouses work. There's going to be resentment there.
