I know I watch way too much TV, but shows I watched that will have aired their last eps in the last season are Southland, Leverage, Fairly Legal, Common Law, The Hour, Red Widow, Zero Hour, Last Resort, 1600 Penn, Golden Boy, Vegas and Smash. Breaking Bad and Burn Notice to come.
You can throw in Political Animals and Eureka from last summer and Psych filming their final season this summer.
I need some more shows to watch.

Half the shows on that list are why I've throttled back a lot of my regular viewing. Bad shows come and go, and shows with potential get cut off way too early. Who wants to get invested in a show, particularly a serialized drama, that's going to get the axe after six episodes?

It's also incredibly easy to catch up on a show now. You don't have to be in from the beginning.

I wonder if this RIP thread can outlive the Mandela RIP thread before its subjects are actually RIP?

    But ... but ... it's Donald Glover.

Guess it's time for his foray into Shakespeare.

Sorry but if it wasn't for his interaction with Abed he wouldn't have much of a role. Just an opinion.

They could have mined more out of Troy growing up. The episode where he turns 21 is the best "low-concept" one the show has done.

The wrong one. He was the heart of Season 2 (by far the show's best), the only character with a connection to every other character.

Yeah, I can't really see this season being about anything but Troy growing distant from the group for some reason and how they all deal with it. Abed is obvious, but it could be really interesting with Jeff. With Pierce and Troy gone he's lost the one who was at times a father figure and his little brother/son figure.

Whoa, its like you all forgot about Troy's relationship with Britta. Which is OK, because it was an unintentionally hilarious flaw in the show's writing. Not only did they make a horrible couple, they rarely actually appeared together on screen. It was as if the writers of this last season only remembered every couple of weeks.
