For one, if the Republicans cave, you'd end up with a moderate.

But, also, Dems don't look at it that way. Does any liberal thing RBG is even on the edges of the mainstream?

It's rarely prison if it's "just" mishandling of classified information, without outright leaks. But people have lost their jobs, and their security clearances permanently, for doing what Hillary did.
