People with an IQ above 40 know that Nixon would have served his full second term if not for Republicans going against him. But, like I said, that only applies to people with IQs above 40.

FYI, they went against him because he was a criminal.

Yup. The second part of your sentence doesn't negate the first part.

Remember when this thread involved discussion about Garland?

There's an academic argument afoot that says if the Senate refuses to vote yay or nay, that should be construed as the Senate having given him tacit approval and he should take the bench.

(Warning...the following document is even longer than a Ragu post)

That's an interesting piece, but he specifically states that argument shouldn't apply to judicial appointments.

Fair enough to prove without a doubt that you were wrong.

Did I insufficiently admit to my error? Really?

    You really are insufferable.

I was mistaken. Cran showed that.

Is there something more to say?

Is OOPbot trying to troll YankeeFan today?

If so, it's funny, but not in the way the bot intends.

Saying fair enough is not the same as simply admitting you were wrong. Then you went on to defend your point anyway, claiming that what you posted is what "is most remembered." You were still trying to justify what you posted.

Insufferable? Given the way you stalk posters you don't like? That's just precious.
