RIP Art Modell

My understanding is that Modell made a presentation to the Mayor to remodel Municipal Stadium a little less than two years before he left. The city was moving forward on that project. Modell skipped town just before the vote to approve that project.

And Modell could have always built his own stadium. Joe Robbie, who I don't think had a lot of wealth outside of the the Dolphins, did.

 

Every time this thread gets bumped, I just assume the asshole is back, zombie-style, feeding on Browns fans.

He already took our hearts. Why not go for brains next?
