The voice of Hockey Night in Canada for a generation. Only person to call the 1972 Summit Series (for CBC Radio) and Olympic hockey (for CBC TV). Three dozen Stanley Cup Finals going back to radio up into HDTV. Few announcers today know how to use his voice as he did. “Oh, baby!” He was great.
