Hearing Vannnnnnnn Earl Wright was funny every single time.

Loved the Nick and Hick show on CNNSI. Later I got to meet Fred on several occasions and he was always gracious and funny. It was unfortunate his time at ESPN was so difficult and placed him in such a bad light. He was a talented, good man that had some real issues. Not the first, won't be the last.

Back when ESPN wasn’t sports in the morning. Denise Austin, Body by Jake and business news all day.

I remember when he was still with CNN, he would also voice-over the bumpers teasing the house shows during WCW Saturday Night: "Live in Jacksonville, Florida, Lex Luuuuuger ..."

I would get up at 6am to watch NBC Sunrise with Deborah Norville. Jimmy Cefalo was the sports anchor and I’d get my Sac Kings scores.
