RIP Dikembe Mutombo

    If it wasn't a disaster enough, the fact they traded away one of the NBA's greatest citizens (Steve Smith) to get that schmuck.

    He's a Denver legend. When I was a kid he visited my middle school (I think we won a contest or something) and it was amazing. Still one of my best childhood memories.

    That 94 series against Seattle was something -- and forgotten in all of it is they almost did the same thing against Utah after being down 3-0 but lost in seven.

    It's too bad the Nuggets couldn't get out of their own way at that time. Should have had more sustained success but instead had some of the worst seasons ever just a few years later. But he's still a Denver legend.
