The fact he isn’t in the Rock and Roll HOF still irks me.

I don’t have an opinion one way or another about the R&R Hall of Fame, but Kennedy Center Honors should have come years ago.

Went down the rabbit hole looking for Buffett content last night. Watched a 1985 concert, which was a lot of fun. And a 60 Minutes interview after he had the hit with “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere” in the early 2000s.

Is there a definitive documentary that anyone as seen?

Not that I’m aware, and I’ve been a hard core Parrothead for 30+ years.
Maybe the best thing would be his boom A Pirate Looks at 50 because it’s in his own words.

I have several full length concerts I’ve downloaded from YouTube on a flash drive that I pop on and watch from time to time.

He has a last album in the can. I wonder if — like David Bowie with Black Star — he knew he was running out of time and wrote his songs accordingly.

Well, "It's 5 o’clock Somewhere" is really an Alan Jackson song with a Buffett assist at the end.

We made our own. But if you Google “blender blaster” or “gas-powered blender” you’ll find them for sale.

Thanks… when I wrote that earlier I spaced on the name of the country artist.

i’d say so. I hope so. He went back into the hospital in May and started work on the new one in June. Apparently he had been treated at MD Anderson for a couple of years now.

Nothing to do with the new album, but they started hospice care Monday, and he was gone Friday night/Saturday morning.
