But he left behind a closet
    Filled with verse and rhymes
    And through some strange transaction
One was printed in the Times
    And everybody’s searchin’
    For the king of underground
Well they found him down in Florida
With a tombstone for a crown

    Everybody knows a line
From his book that cost four ninety-nine
I wonder if he knows he’s doin’
    Quite this fine

"Blue Bloods" had their Jimmy Buffett impersonator rerun last night.

One Particular Harbor isn't one of the Big 8? Surprised.

It’s National Cheeseburger Day, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Of course, National Hamburger Day is May 28 … and nobody says you can’t put cheese on your hamburger that day.

I didn't realize Buffett never replaced Fingers Taylor when he left the band to go solo. I guess all the harmonica parts were done via keyboard?

Taylor - who is Jerry Jeff's son, by the way - is really bad off with Alzheimer's.

I thought that relationship was just lore. Not an actual fact.

He is really bad off with Alzheimer’s, but he’s not Jerry Jeff’s son.

I don't know for sure one way or another, that's just what I've always heard.
Doing a little digging showed that JJW was only 10 years older than Taylor, so I'll agree that it's unlikely true.

Find it funny that he received the name "Fingers" for his piano skills. But you really don't do much with Fingers on a harmonica.
