Pretty sure that’s Peter Mayer of the Coral Reefer Band.

Mayer is in the background wearing a pink shirt.

Yep. Fail on my part. Google turns up a Peter Mayer who looks remarkably like the guy in front, but it’s an unrelated musician named Peter Mayer. Go figure.

I see seven songs on that set list that absolutely had no place being played.

I'll go 8, and most of them are in the middle all jammed together.

Tell us which ones don’t belong, and why.

Any song that Buffett himself didn’t sing in concert or on an album shouldn’t have been on there. Scrap Pitbull’s two songs for “Trying to Reason” and “Who’s the Blonde Stranger,” for example.

    Pirates & Parrots
    Gin & Juice
    While My Guitar Gently Weeps
    Both Pitbull songs
    Boys of Summer
    Take it to the Limit
    Let it Be

    They aren't Buffett songs.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying back there, too.

I'm guessing each of the Eagles wanted a solo - and having Walsh sing "Life's been good to me so far" might have landed odd - so he went with In the City. Schmidt was a member of the CRB and coined the Parrothead name, and I actually thought Take it to the limit - was an appropriate song choice - as well as Let It Be.
