Nassau County executive refuses to fly flags at half-staff

 

MY FIL was buried at a national cemetery, with full honors. Part of the protocol was, a military member of equal rank presented the flag to the family. Wonder how they do it when the deceased is the Commander in Chief.

 

No surprise. Blakeman is a piece of shit Trump toady. But he had time this week to ask Optimum and MSG Networks to settle their dispute so we could watch our shitty local hockey teams.

 

Upper 30s is one thing. Upper 20s and wind chills in the teens when the procession actually passes is another.

 

Not having to watch the Rangers … can’t put a price on that.

And never, never get between Blakeman and a camera.

 

He is a uniquely bad person. When a local HS was involved in a terrible bus crash in upstate NY early last school year, he wasn't racing to the site to assist or to show bipartisan support.

 

Similar thing happening in our little town. Some vigilantes going around knocking on door of houses that don’t have flags at half staff.

Biden’s order is for federal buildings. Not my house. And not Nassau County buildings.

 

How many people have flag poles that even allow you to lower it to half-staff at your home. I think the vigilantes are stupid too. But a county executive, hell ALL politicians need to remember they serve everybody.
