    The CBS Sports front page no longer has the correction and apology posted.

    So to recap: Up at 11 p.m. or so the night of the crime. Buried by 7 the next morning, when most sports fans will be logging on after likely watching a movie or playing with their kids or diddling the wife or whatever they did on Saturday night - probably not monitor national sports sites, though. If a tree falls in the forest ...

    No, it doesn't. CBS posts blog items under news headlines. Poorly written, grossly padded blog riffs off some other site's rumor report. You call that journalism? I call that BULLSHIT. ::)

    It appears ESPN is running a tribute on ESPN and ESPN2....wow I guess it is official this time.

    Does this mean the kid might have been right? I don't put it past the Paterno family to hide the news for about 12 hours or so until they decide how to release it.
