    Yeah, I mentioned Selmon earlier because his restaurant released that he was dead and then his brother, the family spokesman, said that wasn't true.

    Actually, I think it's a credit to journalism that a report like this gets shot down by the real practitioners like those at the NYT within minutes. Good job guys.

    CBS looks really bad with this. Bryan Fischer is now Tweeting that CBS didn't report it, but that it cited OnwardState. However, the CBS story didn't mention OnwardSite by name. Instead, it hyperlinked the OnwardState tweet under the words "has died."

    cbssports.com had the "BREAKING NEWS" banner wallpapered with Joe Paterno's passing.
