    I first heard about yacht rock maybe 2 years ago and I scoffed at it. Then I was invited to a concert by a group going by the name Yachtly Crew and it was fantastic. It wasn't just soft rock, they had a horn section. The band brought energy and the musicians seemed to be having fun on stage. It was one of the funnest concerts I have ever attended.

    Sirius XM has a whole channel dedicated to Yacht Rock.

    Always enjoy when the channel makes it to car radios every summer, then after Labor Day it goes back to app-only. Though its catalog has expanded a little too much for my liking; I feel like the true Yacht Rock is only about 50-60 songs and I'm good with those spinning on repeat.
