And she never touched the brakes while hitting the other car at 82 mph, tearing out its steering wheel and launching it for 175 feet. My goodness.

That story does not contain a single good number.

She was going 82 in a 45. The equivalent up here would get your car seized and a $10,000 fine—just for the speeding, never mind the rest of it.

I'm sure would walk away with a slap on the wrist if she wasn't drunk.

"Do you know who my husband is?"

And if she didn't slam into someone and kill them and herself.

The one thing I’ve learned from the Dumb People Town podcast is that you can ingest way more alcohol than I thought possible and not die.

Similar ending to No Country For Old Men.

    Bury mom.
    Come home.
    Get killed.

I mean, it was 2 o'clock in the afternoon and she was hammered. There's day drinking and then there's all-day drinking.

The last two years of my marriage, my wife would get like this 3x a week. Sometimes more. It was insane.

Getting drunk - probably 3x the limit - was the only skill she excelled at by the end. She always did it at home and never went to a bar. So she never drove drunk but, by drink 10 or 11, me and the kids because the worst thing in her life.

Or so she told us hundreds of times.
