    Here's a statement.

Fucking thief and general assclown Kenneth Lay died while he wasn't serving time at his posh vacation home in Colorado. He died too soon, when many of us were hoping to see him spend some time in a federal Pound Me In The Ass Prison. Many of us remain baffled that Lay was out of prison while awaiting his sentencing, living the good life instead of trading cigarettes for favors and looking behind his back all the time. The asshole bilked a number of lower and middle class Americans out of their life savings while getting out before the company he ran into the ground, ran into the ground. It's believed that he'd have preferred grape jelly when tossing his cell mate's salad, but that was only speculation. He and his partner in crime Jeff Skilling have over $180 million in assetts that the federal government wants to seize, since it really isn't fair that he's allowed to accumulate so much stuff through crookedness and deception. Lay was 64 when a heart attack claimed his life. That left many surprised that he even had a heart.

    Here you go:

Enron founder, CEO and crook Kenneth Lay passed away from a reported massive coronary at his vacation home in Aspen. He will not be missed.

SportsJournalists.com would like to express its collective sympathy to the thousands of families he destroyed in his attempt to cook the books, pad the bank accounts and screw the world. Lay -- who is now vacationing on a private island with Elvis, Jimmy Hoffa and those aboard the plane that supposedly crashed into the Pentagon, according to Songbird -- did not pass painfully enough for Starman or anyone with an ounce of decency.

May his memory and crimes be remembered.

When I told my co-workers, they all were surprised, then followed that up with a "Good riddance." I'm wondering if there's going to be any sorrow for this guy's passing ... from any corner or political stripe.

    Paging trounced ... paging trounced.

A shame he had to die - never had to serve a day of hard time.
Even in death, he got over on us one more time.

Will the feds verify that the dead body is indeed Ken Lay's before it goes in the ground?

Otherwise this guy will the live the rest of his life on a beach in South America.

Of course, you're presupposing that the Feds, the leader of whom is Kenny Boy's good friend W, WANT to be sure it's Lay's body.

Now Lay's death begs the question: Does this give Skilling a tougher sentence because he's the only one to take the heat, or does he use the "Ken made me do it" defense at the sentencing?
